Night Blooming Cereus Cactus flower -

size of a saucer -

opens at 10pm EDT -
Florida US -
oh, how I hated to leave it when we moved -

framed in PicMonkey -
'trademark signature' added -

no way to describe the aroma -
the Cactus is very prickly -
hold a flashlight in one had -
camera in the other -
just hope you don't get stuck too badly -
taken with Canon PowerShot A630 -

adjusted the color - the original in the note was too bright; this grew on a chain link fence in Florida US; in the album Night Blooming Cereus - you can get a better look of the size of the cactus and all the prickly parts .. from which these blooms emerge ...

Yasser, it was a beautiful flower ... my next door neighbor was warned ahead of time that I would be out in the side yard [ the flashlight would probably have shone on her window ] -- she said, "I'm glad you told me; would have wondered what was going on!"
