While deeply-rooted in bluegrass music’s historic classics, they also have an energetic flair for country sounds, progressive jams, and soul-stirring gospel music while never forsaking their traditional essence. If you love high lonesome harmony, soaring sibling vocals and powerful bluegrass music, then you will love Flatt Lonesome! ''

Love, Always . . .
Patsy Cline
Ted Swindley's celebrated musical -
Back again .. Starring Ashley Flanagan and Jane McLelland
Story line- Louise (Jane McLelland) and Patsy Cline (Ashley Flanagan), became friends because of Louise's love of Patsy's music ..

The title of this musical is how Patsy signed her letters to Louise -
Always ...Patsy Cline

Music and more ..
David Holt and Josh Goforth have played music together for about 16 years .. think that is what I heard. David knew some of Josh's relatives and has passed along that history and love of music those relatives had to Josh.
So, Josh said ..''it has come full circle .. learning about relatives who were here before me.''
Josh is acoustic ..
David is mostly, but did see him plug something in at one point.
Trying to keep up with the storytelling - history of instruments .. was challenging, but we can all use more history.
Especially if it involves Music!

Oh, what a night !
A tribute to American Music to raise awareness and funds for AlzNC -
Musicians -
John Countryman on keyboards/vocals -
Robbie Kester on bass -
Matt Boswell - guitar/vocals
Jeremy 'Big Germ' Thomas - drums
Musicians communicate without uttering a word, per Jeremy Thomas .. ''it's the musician's handshake''.
So far, the only musician I know is the bass man -- Robbie Kester -
And, 'It's ALL about the Bass' -
A great night of music from blues/country/Americana/Rock (Lynyrd Skynrd to Chuck Berry to BB King) -
And anything in between !

Part of the Chosen . . .
Family of Music ..
There are two kinds of family ..
Related by blood ..
or
Chosen ..
There doesn't need to be a reason ..
Just because works for me ..
This combination of photos is both ..
If I could put everyone in one collage ..
It would be done ..
Even those who live out of town ..
Way across the US ..
Even other countries ..
Or in Florida where I lived for so many years ..
Photographers never met ..
Yet I feel that I know them through their works ..
So, to my ' Chosen Family ' reading this ..
Many, many hugzzzzz
Namaste,
Peggy
