Zed

Zed
Alphabet Z

In most English-speaking countries, including Britain, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia, the letter's name is zed /ˈzɛd/, reflecting its derivation from the Greek zeta (this dates to Latin, which borrowed X, Y, and Z from Greek, along with their names), but in American English its name is zee /ˈziː/, analogous to the names for B, C, D, etc., and deriving from a late 17th century English dialectal form.

How clever and interesting about the pronunciation of this letter. We got it all wrong over here lol

A lovely, clear and bright image.

Excellent !

I have to explain to folk here that English English and American English are too totally different languages.

In the words of George Bernard Shaw

" England and America are two countries separated by a common language "

Very creative use of paint brushes, Gillian! I'm familiar with the term "zed" because this is how ham radio operators pronounce the letter z (I also have a ham radio license) :-))
