By 2015 there were so many trees in the park that they were robbing each other of water, so from 2015 to 2017 the park was renovated to a design by Claude Cormier + Associés.

Thanks, Keith. The park, being in the heart of downtown, always attracted people, but since the redesign it's a lot livelier.

Looks like the dog-friendly one. It's nice to see a park laid out to be used, and being used. Saint Louis used to have a blocks-long park at the edge of downtown where nobody really had any reason to go, and nobody did. Total waste of space.

As I mentioned to Keith, this park was always well-used, but now it's a lot livelier. It's good to see something playful in dour old Toronto.

I've mentioned in my replies to Keith and Bob that it is now livelier than it used to be. Part of that, I think, is because people now visit in families and have a good time together.

A busy and pleasant park indeed. I'm intrigued by the large mirror in your main image and, like Jean, was taken by the dog shooters in the PiP.

When I walked by the dog shooters I wasn't sure at first whether the dog was real or a new addition to the ceramic dogs. But it was real -- it seemed to be a trained dog model, in fact.

Thanks, Denis. They were shooting a movie there today. Almost everyone in the cast and crew was wearing black, though, so it wasn't much of a photographic opportunity.
