Personification of Spain!

Personification of Spain!
I was amazed when I saw the outline of a map of Spain through this rock window! OK, it's not a perfect outline but you couldn't get much better!
La Sierra de La Cabrera and the Bustarviejo Valley.

Angelofruhr, MaggsMep, Nouchetdu38, Jadviga Grase and 38 other people have particularly liked this photo

Sadly, Maggie there is a ghastly new-ish housing estate messing up the view. I haven't highlighted it with a note because I didn't want to draw attention to it and I, and many others, detest it. It was subsequently found to have been a fraudulent / corrupt deal between a local politician and one of the big construction companies (no surprise there - very common in Spain), riding roughshod over laws that were designed to protect the countryside and such views.
Unfortunately, also, I taught at this construction company and gave private tuition to the owner's son who was later implicated. I didn't know it at the time and he was charming and a good student. I get the feeling he wanted to prove to Daddy that he could be equally as ruthless and therefore successful as him in business dealings. Only a hunch, mind!
Oh well! :o(
(Now for the shorter response; No. I don't think this photo can be used by the Spanish Tourist Board!)
