H. A. N. W. E. everyone!
South West Peninsula Coast Path, above Greenbank Cove, Northcliffs, Cornwall. High tide; I used to come here mostly at low tide and do the coastline, rock-hopping walk along the shoreline you see here as far as Porthcadjack Cove. PAM J would understand me here!
Perhaps better on full screen.
And I include this long version of a famous song because I love it a lot and hadn't heard in a while so I thought why not do a 'sight and sound'! www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z66wVo7uNw

ps I too have suffered Covid in the last couple of weeks. Just a bit weak now but no senses of smell or taste -not good! (Nothing like your Covid though -I know.)
Andy Rodker club has replied to Herb Riddle clubI had no idea, but they do say that more or less everyone will get this Omicron variant B5 sooner or later due to immune escape. I hope you get your senses of smell and taste back quickly. I did in the main but oily fish (tuna, sardines, salmon, mackerel, etc) and coffee, tea and all alcoholic drinks tasted foul for about 6 months after. Now OK, I'm pleased to say as the appreciation of fine wine is a hobby of mine (although with diabetes I have to practice caution here!)
Hope you fully recover asap!
Best wishes,
Andy

Many thanks!
Andy Rodker club has replied to MaggsMep clubI do miss it - it's now exactly 4 years since I last saw my parents.
In 2019 I had to work the summer months taking intensive Business English classes.
In 2020 Covid restrictions.
In 2021 I had Covid big time!
Then this summer, my consultant advised me not to fly as airplanes carried too great a risk of more covid infection, especially as I have no immune system to speak of, due to my leukaemia and on-going chemotherapy treatment.
So I have to accept the fact that I don't know when, if ever, I'll be able to return!

Andy Rodker club has replied to Madeleine Defawes clubSuperbly captured..!!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubI had no idea that you had leukaemia and diabetes, as well as having suffered COVID. You poor thing - you really have suffered. Yet you still manage to sound so positive. Well done you. I do feel your pain about not seeing your parents - it had been over 3 years that I hadn't seen Mandi, but that's okay now. Take care my friend.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubWell, the leukaemia is of a slow, long-haul type and I've had it for about 13 years now - before I even came to Spain so it's become a part of me and I forget who knows and who doesn't know about it. Anway it's reasonably well controlled with Chemo pills and the occasional blood transfusions. But it's why it was very critical with Covid - as I have diabetes as well, cancer and diabetes are among the two worst co-morbidities which is why it became very serious for me. Thankfully, I enjoy world class medical facilities at my hospital and that, together with all the support I got from girlfriend, family - and even the good vibes I subconsciously got from ipernity members - helped me pull through!
Andy Rodker club has replied to TonyF*Andy Rodker club has replied to Guido Werner clubActually there is a lot of traffic on the A303 westward, so many people have the same idea.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Rosalyn Hilborne clubI'm not surprised! Actually, the only time the roads weren't so crowded - when they were expected to be - was the eclipse in 1999. A friend of mine was quite senior in the Devon and Cornwall police at the time and he thought all their warnings about water shortages, no camping space, etc., had been far too effective and put people off coming.
The tourist industry wasn't best pleased!
