I'm not sufficiently expert at photography to comment on your observation about photography in foggy conditions but interesting what you say! As far as The Battle of Waterloo is concerned, I am puzzled but presume you are referring to a painting you have seen. Maybe the famous one withthe charge of the Scots Greys, commonly known as Scotland Forever, by Elizabeth Thompson, Lady Butler.

Yes, I was surprised to hear that! I thought they had been open for ages! They have been open here since May of last year!

I think it was the right decision to close nonessential shops while the vaccination programme was taking place. I will be pleased to go to M&S again, but I'll wait a few days as there have been long socially distanced queues!

Thank you, Anton. I am fortunate to live with the constantly chaning views from my new home. I can also see the jagged contours of my beloved Sierra de La Cabrera in its entirity from here (not in this photo thpugh!), and it looks really small !!!

Well I am at a loss as how to explain how this photograph makes me feel Andy. It's so uniquely beautiful. The lighting, the mood, perspective all come together and keeps one attention for some time. I do enjoy this one very much.
