Pam,
Great comments, thank you!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubI always had a good sense of balance that was helpful in the sports I enjoyed playing (tennis, rock climbing, cricket - which is my all time favourite sport, football ... and darts!). But no longer. I walk many miles a day between classes and am pleased to do so, elsewise I would get precious little exercise, but from time to time I keel over, so to speak, in the most unexpected places. I am feeling fine one minute and the next I am being held up by concerned passers-by as I lose my balance and fall in crowded streets or on a metro station escalator. My consultant assures me that this is normal ... and preferable to the alternative!!!
So I have to go along with it!
C'est la vie!

LOVE THAT LIGHTHOUSE... I WISH
Andy Rodker club has replied to Pam J clubYes, it is frustrating because it is difficult to plan for! I haven't lost my balance on a walk in the country yet but it tends to happen if I have to stop suddenly in a crowd, or change my direction to avoid something unexpected. Someone stopped abruptly right in front of me the other day and I was carrying two heavy bags of shopping. I had to swerve to one side and then found myself losing my balance and performed a grotesque slow-motion dance in a futile attampt to stay upright! Fortunately there were many people all around and I was saved from crashing to the ground by a helpful passer-by and I also managed to keep a hold of my shopping bags with their many glass jars and bottles intact!
