West Penwith. Cornwall, August 2015. PLEASE STAY, DON'T RUN AWAY!!!
View towards Bosigran, Rosemergy, Pendeen Watch and Morvah from the lower slopes of Carn Galva.
The granite field-walls (called 'hedges' in Cornwall) seen here in the middle distance, and present in much of the coastal-shelf areas of West Penwith are reputed to be the oldest 'continuously used - for their original purpose - man made structures anywhere on Earth'.

What a richly colored, totally packed with vegetation picture! I love the colors, the textures, your format and your excellent composition too. I sure do like your style, Andy. I can see why you like this picture so much, it really pulls you in and makes you fly into the image! I am so impressed that you get such nice photography from non dslrs. I love to see this and the fact is, small cameras are getting better and better. Why lug a dslr if you don't have to, right? :)

I used to love my Pentax ME (given to me as a 21st birthday present). But I was also rock climbing and spending a lot of time in the mountains so I simply couldn't risk taking it with me (too bulky) and I gradually fell out of the habit of taking photos with it. I still have it by the way, together with lenses etc. But I did go from 1986 to 2011 without taking a single photo!
