This is really beautiful Rosa. The house is elegant and impressive and I love the bench. It is perfect to allow you to sit and enjoy the peace and sunshine without getting too hot, - the tree will provide a welcome spot of shade, particularly in summertime. I love the shadow patterns across the grass.

In winter it's perfect because there is enough sun shining on the bench, in summer the tree covers it with welcoming shadow... Btw, beautiful residence in the background. HBM Rosalyn.

A nice study here Rosa. Looks like you do the same as i do now - walk around looking for benches, fences and walls too. I used to avoid fences and benches but now I go look for them. What has my life come to?

A lovely bench...........and judging by the lack of grass around it, very well used. I like the shape made by the tree branches as well and the shadows. The building looks very elegant, especially in that lovely sunshine. It looks very quiet there with only a couple people around, which would suit me perfectly!

Thank you Keith. Yes I have seen a lot of people making use of this lovely bench in the summer months. The day I took this shot was a day when visitors were there for the abundant displays of snowdrops. I also enjoy when there are not so many people.

As usual, a magnificent shot (retains clarity and sharpness at the largest size). Beautiful landscaping and architecture.
