Thank you Nick. Yes it was very nice. The clocks went forward the night before, which I forgot, and I missed breakfast in the hotel!! My fist visit in Rudesheim was a cafe ;-))

A couple of great captures here Rosa. I was here too in 2015 and have almost the same shots somewhere too. A magical area indeed. Well done.

Beautiful town Rosalyn, I love that street view it's that sort of place that would take me ages to go from one end to the other.

I like the way the path in the main picture takes the eye right into the pretty little town. The second image with the narrow street is such a great contrast to the wide open space of the vineyard. The people in the street give scale and depth to the scene. A fine pair of images Rosa.

Two super images Rosa...............I agree with Doug about the leading line from the path in the main image...........very well composed and taken.

The second image is lovely. It looks very touristy there but that's not a criticism. I like the cobbled streets and the architecture.

Thank you very much Keith. It was that Easter when it was cold and wet everywhere, but I have seen pictures of this street in the summer and it gets very busy. I really like German architecture and would like to visit again sometime.

Coming from your English photos this made me stop- then I saw the title;-) Good leading lines! I must admit I have always given Rüdesheim a miss though I did visit Bingen on the other side of the Rhine.

It is an attractive town Gudrun. Soon after this was taken it snowed, so we retreated to one of the excellent cafes ;-)

Hope you left me some wine !

I would love to return Tanja ;-)) The wine tasting session in the caves was very good and very humorous. Also had a great entertainer in the hotel in Kamp-Bornhofen.
