Guardian of the Lady Daffs ..

Guardian of the Lady Daffs ..
- since Daffodils ignore the weather
- they are the main bloomers in the Garden of Surprises

- Thomas Panther Catt is our neighbor
- a black feline [ who owns the neighborhood ]
- is the Guardian of Humans as well as flowers
-Thomas P stops by daily just to check everything out
- now, if I could just get him past the Supervisor level
- to digging in the dirt with me .......

Who is luckier ... Thomas or the Neighborhood -- that is a tough one. Don't know of anyone who dislikes Thomas. But, he is not a pushy or noisy feline ... he just watches us humans to see if we need any help

I like Thomas without knowing him. Great collage of images.

My Friend,
You would love him. Thomas is even seen going for walks with neighbors; sometimes up the hill - other times, down to the stop sign...
Then I guess he figures all is okay !

So true --- Thomas is a guardian of many gardens here ... has not dug anything up or disturbed any plantings. As you say, he is a Guardian.

Beautiful collage and what are the Easter flowers early this year, nature is clearly confused, here there are snowdrops and crocuses, I haven't seen an Easter flower yet...

Sonia,
Just checked photos from last year ... the Daffs and crocus bloomed this time last year, also. One difference .. so far no purple Crocus.
My neighbor [who has beautiful Buddleja and a Jane Tulip Magnolia in bud] - the Jane Tree is right on schedule, too.

A lovely, beautifully arranged collage, with each of the photos perfectly captured. Thomas's portrait is simply awesome, with his eyes shining through his total blackness. Not to forget the beautiful poetry.
Peggy, I hope that you save your lovely poetry on your computer as well.

By the way, I was amazed that you and Ronald Losure came across the amoeba video so quickly after I posted it. I thought no one would see it there (so, you say why then bother posting it?-- I don't know).

Thank you, R . Thomas is not easy to photograph ... rarely holds still~
Never thought about these comments as 'poetry' as do you . so, no haven't backed that up as all photos are done.

Why should you be amazed?
It was fascinating.
Why bother posting ... oh, could talk your ears off on that subject - don't even think about it!

Well, to me many of your descriptions are poetry. I think it would be a pity not to have them backed up somewhere. I enjoy them as much as I enjoy your images.

About posting the video as an "Article": I didn't think that it would be of general interest, so I thought someone might stumble across it there somehow, and both you and Ronald did :)

Thank you so much, Peggy.

We ALMOST have grape hyacinths, daffs, then tulips where I am. Yay! I love this collage, for the daffodils, but also for the handsome back cat. I still miss mine!

Peggy, none of the microscopic seedlings, so far, have survived our late winter/ early spring frost. I give up. ;-(
