Not your usual palette, but worthy of the mythical museum. Excellent.

Thank you very much, Bob. I think I'm finally starting to see the potential in the museum. Further developments may occur.

So bold and geometric. I really like the dark green wood and especially the little crumbling doorway. I wonder who lives in there.

Thanks, Jean. I couldn't get close enough to see who that is.

Yes, it looks to me like someone looking out his door.

Thank you very much, Gisela. I think I was influenced here, as I often am, by early American Pop Art. Here I'd bet on the influence being distorted memories of Jasper Johns. Anyway, I thought of this as like a painting as soon as I saw it, so I'm glad you saw the resemblance, too.

Urbanely good. I like the fractured crumbly contrast.

Thanks, Steve. I suspect it would lose its charm without the crumbly bit. I think I'll check that out.

Yes Jasper Johns but Peter Blake too I think...

I'm less familiar with Peter Blake than with Jasper Johns, Denis, but I'm familiar enough with him to see you're right -- he could well have been an influence, too. I've also posted a couple of photos here that seem to have been influenced by Ed Ruscha's gas station paintings.
