Still life

Ah, from the thumbnail I expected a mobile! There is a sadness to the full picture, somehow.

I hadn't noticed it, but there is a definite resemblance to a mobile. Thanks for pointing it out. The sadness may come from my traditionalist insistence that a still life contain something dead.

Love the textures and the shadows. I had to view large because I was intrigued by the plant. Was it dead or did it contain seeds because if there are seeds it is full of life. Sent me into a muse about the circularity of life and death.
