Things that start with the letter "T" presented in a square aspect ratio.

"T" like tunnel.

the tunnel, opened in 1911, was built to cope with the enormous number of
workers who had to change sides to get to their workplaces.
Ferries were in operation, but their number would have had to be increased
over time to such an extent that a queer crossing of the Elbe would have
only disturbed the traffic.
Likewise a bridge was rejected... which should have been over 50 meters high.

Ships with a draught of more than 10 metres cannot navigate
on this part of the Elbe.
This was not taken into account during construction....
and so the big freighters don't drive over it nowadays.
The large cruise ships, on the other hand,
have a draught of less than 10 metres and can call at the port city easily.
