The Castle
This home was built in Carmi, Illinois in 1896 and is now on the Historical Register. It is known locally as “The Castle,” for obvious reasons. The camera I used to take this image is 66 years old.

Thanks for noticing that! I left it in intentionally. While other's this week were adding in scratches, lint and imperfections, I didn't clone all the scratches, lint and imperfections out of my image.

I just realized the challenge was to take an image that looked like it could have been taken 100 years ago. My image couldn't have been taken but only 66 years ago, since that's when my camera was made!

I should have used one of my box cameras. I have one that was made in 1919 - that would have been just right for the challenge.
