Selective Color
To see is a historic building ... the Poelzig-Bau.
Or "I.G. Farben Gebäude" ... then the main quatier of the US military
and now it is home to the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main.
The I.G. Farben (Interests - Community Colors) built as a state-of-the-art
headquarters for one of the then largest companies in the world at 1930.
A few years later, the chemical company cooperated closely with the Nazis.
In the war, just a few discs broke and after the Second World War,
the US forces moved there. After a few attacks,
the building was completely sealed off by the population in the 70s.
After the withdrawal of the US Military, 2001 moved to the University in.
