Chemnitztalviadukt - HFF
115 Jahre hat dieses technische Denkmal bestand. Selbst die Bomben konnten die Brücke am 05. März 1945 nicht zerstören und nun soll sie "entsorgt" werden. Deshalb organsierten heute, am 4. März 2016, Mitglieder des Viaduktvereins, einen Tag vor dem Jahrestag der Zerstörung von Chemnitz im 2. Weltkrieg, eine "Lichtaktion". Sie richtet sich gegen die Pläne der Deutschen Bahn, den Viadukt abzureißen und durch einen Neubau zu ersetzen. "Ein Bauwerk überstand dieses Inferno unbeschadet - der Viadukt", heißt es im Aufruf der Initiative und soll ein Zeichen "gegen Zerstörung von Identität und gegen technokratische Stadtgestaltung" sein.
