Cry Of The Wild Goose
Terry (Hamilton Henry) Gilkyson (the third) and the writer's take on "The Cry Of The Wild Goose". Terry formed The Easy Riders and was lead vocalist on the Weaver's "On Top Of Old Smokey".
Frankie Laine (LoVecchio) topped the 1950 Billboard charts with the Mitch Miller production of "The Cry Of The Wild Goose". The writing credit on the Mercury label goes to "Terry Glykerson". I had the pleasure of chatting with Frankie shortly before he turned ninety years old. I'm sure that last sentence changed your life
