Saturday Night (Bay City Rollers)
Gordon "Nobby Clark" was the first lead singer with the Scottish group the Bay City Rollers and recorded "Saturday Night" in 1973. He left the band because of the direction it was taking.
The Bay City Rollers (Les McKeown, Eric Faulkner, Derek and brother Alan Longmuir and Stuart Wood) took the re-recorded "Saturday Night" (Bill Martin - Phil Coulter) produced by the composers to the top of the chart in 1976 with new lead vocalist Les McKeown. The single is from the "Rollin'" album.
