Love Walked In

This is the first recorded version of Kenny Baker's "Love Walked In" (George Gershwin - Ira Gershwin) from the 1938 production "The Goldwyn Follies. At the time Kenny was a regular on The Jack Benny Program and was succeeded by Dennis Day. Kenny went on to appear in movies and star on Broadway.

The same year Sammy Kaye (Zarnocay) topped the charts with "Love Walked In". The vocalist is Tommy Ryan (Nathan Levine). Tommy, who never finished the forth grade, starred with Phil Silvers in the Broadway production Top Banana, owned rare coin and jewellery stores in Chicago and Florida. He even bought and bred horses.
