HFF! (a tricky shot, almost directly into the sun!)

Marvellous light in a superb coastal capture Andy, Erosion has become a major problem all around the west country sadly,
HFF and a good weekend.

thank you, Roger. Particularly relentless along the stretch of coast known as North Cliffs, between Porthcadjack and Rescajeage.

I last went there at the time of this shot (2018) and my parents aren't getting any younger.
It is just possible that I may have to return to Cornwall to care for them - and because I might not be able to support myself in Spain any longer. I have to investigate whether it is possible to continue online classes with my students, from Cornwall. Tax, Brexit, other stuff, could all be factors to get in the way. But I don't want to abandon my girlfriend, who is now without work. Dilemmas, dilemmas, dilemmas!
And zillions of people around the world are also having to work out a very different future!!!

Hard choices... but better not having to choose but find a way to conciliate all parties. You have to wait till Brexit is concluded and you know what you can do and not do. About Marta... talking is the best so you can both find a solution to stay together... here or over there!

The warm colours are so lovely. Life is difficult for so many just now. The friends I saw today are old like me and are probably OK financially as long as our pensions continue to be paid. But we all say that we are glad to be old. With the pandemic, Brexit and climate change things don’t look promising but part of us still wants to be here to see how things turn out. Life is always taking unexpected turns.

You nailed it Andy.............despite the harsh sunlight. I really like the gorse in the foreground with the beautiful yellow flower heads lit up by the sun. The warm, earthy colours of the cliffs (what's left of them) are just gorgeous.
