Newdown's Head and Man and His Man, for Pam!

The fierce and long early summer heatwave led to a waning of the floral display earlier than normal. But it could still produce a pleasing, if muted, show in places!

Yes, with a bit of gorse thrown in for good measure.
There are three names for the two islands. The only one on maps is Bawden Rocks (although why Bawden rocks, and to what kind of music, I know not!), the local name is Man and his Man, and I forget the third!
I prefer to use the local name, no matter how strange it seems to modern ears!

Usually better than this, but a dryer and hotter than usual spring and early summer stunted the growth of the new shoots and reduced the floral display.
