Just to the left of the rocks, on the horizon is a little dark smudge. These are the Cuatro Torres, the four tallest buildings in Spain, built between about 2004 and 7. Before they were built it would have been hard to spot Madrid from here except in the clearest of light. More often a pollution haze would be the give-away! But I wasn't in Spain then so I am guessing!

Thank you, Tanja. I'm currently well in the main but it is amazing how a combination of minor things can stop you just as much as a major illness in doing the things you take for granted.

I know I had a lucky escape in 2016 and all else is just fluff!
I would like to get back to the mountains again soon though!! :o)
