Tree on Ennerdale

Another view of this tree, posted a couple of days ago, show the tree from the opposite direction looking west. The fortuitous red berries are in fact some other walkers on here. Our hike continues the same way as those walkers, along this treacherous path through the gate.

Nice to see you here Tanja. The reason behind the swimming fences is the proliferous amount of livestock roaming around in these hills. The fences are just continuing from the hillsides to stop animals from wading or swimming in the water around them to the other side where the grass is always greener :)
