Last Plane Home -Western Autralia Is now closed off to every body even Australia.

Last Plane Home -Western Autralia Is now closed off to every body even Australia.
A star trail captured the last plane to come and land . 150 shots that was thought of as just a star trail as the clouds cleared for a while.

Sami Serola (inactive), ColRam, buonacoppi, Jörg and 15 other people have particularly liked this photo

It really is when you think the whole world has closed down.. but for the internet. You look after yourself.

Normally, that track across your star trails would have been unwanted: in this context it's a great record of the time.

You are 100% right I was thinking of taking it out but I did think its a reminder for us all we are in this together where ever this get to. Closed as we all are we are still together.

You stay safe with your wife ISOLATE yourselves the very best way ahead, not going to be easy but down the line will pay dividends. All the very best from me and all of us in this community.

Thank you very much, Steve. Yes, we're keeping in isolation as far as possible. I fear the effects (not just health) will be substantial and extended. Wishing you and your family all the very best too.

I had no idea as I had the camera on the back lawn only once I saw it together I saw the plane . I had to go back to the photos to see just where the plane entered the field of view ,from the North. Only one plane over head today..........

Hope for us all this is some thing we all can bounce back from. Many thanks Ko look after yourself and family.

Thanks Nick the photographer in me wanted to remove the two shots, the historical capture meant it had to stay. Today only one plane left WA all day a rather telling fact.

You keep as safe as you can, this place is all about photo but more importantly is about people. for as long as we can we are all here...

Not at all what I had in mind but I do think as real statement of the times that has been thrust on us.

From the far side of the world stay safe and you take care of yourself form all of us.

You were right to leave the plane in, it looks like a laser beam cutting through the star trails!
Not many planes here either, basically only freight and the planes bringing stranded tourists back home. But, honestly: most of those having to be rescued started their holidays when it already was clear that the virus would eventually shut evreything down. The pictures of tourists hugging and standing close together before they were flown out sadly show that many still haven't understood...

As they fly out you cant help notice now its the notice of total lack. yes so many went away when they should never, have plenty trapped in other lands and no way home.
The human reaction to this is as you say very typically human it will take a while even though we do not have a while. you stay safe.

Thank you Roger we have just learnt the WA will close its borders to the rest of the world and Australia 1pm Tuesday 24th so we are totally cut off. Only medical of food freight will be allowed in. now its a case of trying to stay away from the maddening crowd as much as we can.

you stay safe and take every precaution you can as much as we are going to do. The hardest part is not suffer from cabin fever.................. for the next year.

What a record of a world-changing event, Steve.

Note down as much as you can about the circumstances, how you feel, what is happening around you. I know it may sound callous, but this is history, whether we like it or not; and we owe it to those who follow after us to tell the story as it is rather than relying on some self-serving politician, celebrity or journalist to tell things the way they really are.

Keep safe, mate. I trust in the words of Dame Julian of Norwich, who lived through the time of the Black Death in the 14th century: “All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.” Well, you've got to be optimistic, haven't you ...

Its not going to be an east time for any of us but we will get to the other side but the world will be changed after this. Stay safe as well in these testing times.
