Käppchenmorchel - Die Pilzzeit beginnt - Cap Morel - The mushroom season begins

This striking mushroom in the picture was found by me in a nature reserve and there in a light grove. It is about 10 cm high and is a representative of the morels. Raw and insufficiently cooked, this cap morel (Morchella semilibera), like all morels, is poisonous and causes severe gastrointestinal disorders. However, if it is cooked for about 15 minutes, it is, like almost all morels, a delicious edible mushroom.
