This Eurasian blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) is climbing around on a tit dumpling to provide itself with grain food. Now, however, the winter feeding is stopped and the blue tits also have to become self-supporters again. They change their diet and prefer animal food (insects, spiders, etc.) and are thus valuable helpers in the garden in decimating harmful caterpillars. Eurasian blue tits are not considered endangered.
