Hiya folks, Thought I'd just write a small blog to let you know how's things are going on. I've had a nice quiet few days which was really necessary for me as I'd done such a lot the previous week. You don't have to own a cat to appreciate this. We were dressed and ready to go out for the New Year’s Eve Party. We turned on a night light, turned the answering machine on, covered our pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. We phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. Ah did you miss me then?? LOL NOT!! I had a great weekend away, it was a lovely warm day on Friday when I went by bus to meet my daughter, it was sunny and I really enjoyed sitting out in the sun waiting for her. I spent Saturday morning taking in so many of her clothes. She's done so well losing so much weight, but it does bring it's own problems - she quickly drops sizes and soon clothes look wrong on her. Hiya folks, Just thought I'd let you know that I won't be around for a few days, I'm going to stay with my daughter until Monday night, so I won't be able to come and visit you until about Tuesday. As she has lost a lot of weight, there are many dresses and trousers of hers that need taking in before she goes to Turkey at the end of the month. Well I'd measured the blocks for my neighbour's quilt and it seemed to be the right size - BUT............ I hadn't realised how much hand quilting was going to "shrink" the quilt!!!!!! I've lost over 12" all over - so I'm going to have to make 10 more blocks!!!!!!!!!!!! Grrrr As you can see on the left - I am still doing some quilting on the bottom row - or so I thought ...... I'm only keeping up with Mickey & Max and their pets being ontop of them.......... This is my old cat Pani who's favourite position was to lie flat out on his back. He was such a laid back cat............... Here Pani had to lie on Mandi's shoulder, while Fred was snuggled on her lap, with Spot vying for a place and you can just make out the grey head of Zisi (Pani's twin) sitting on the table, and who later got onto Mandi's legs - poor girl could hardly move!!!!

I am a cat person as you've no doubt realised by now and the last few years I've been so happy with my cats and also very sad by their quick passing.
