Just lovely............especially the light. I love the detail in the Acanthus and the out-of-focus background.

These are the flowers with the sneakily placed spikes aren't they? I discovered that to my cost a year or so ago :-))

We had heavy rain on and off from the early hours, but not so heavy or frequent this afternoon. Strong gusts of winds too. It's much cooler though, which I'm quite happy with. I hope you're enjoying the weekend.

Thank you very much Keith. To me the garden flowers never look better than on a warm evening as the sun is setting. Yes the acanthus is very spiky. I moved it about 10 years ago to sit against the fence. Before that, it was in the middle of the lawn.

It rained here last night but no wind and now it's cloudy but warm with a light breeze. We live not that far apart really, but the localised weather can be very different!

Thank you Peter. The Bear's Breeches are surrounded by other plants, so I had to fight my way through to get a picture. We haven't had much rain or winds. Today is cloudy, warm with a gentle breeze....so far! Hope you have a good Sunday.
