Une série d'une exceptionnelle beauté ,il suffit d'éscalader toutes ces marches, non sans mal pour enfin arriver au plaisir sensationnel de la découverte.... Bon mercredi.

Thank you so much for your kind comments Malik. I found it easier to climb on the grass rather than the steps! Happy Wednesday.

This tall tower emerging from this mountain: it's almost a surreal setting! Excellent photo!******

A lovely photo, Rosa. The lens flare and the pinkish, purplish tinge in the the sky makes this look a very mystical place, which, of course, it is. Cheers, Joe

Thank you Bea. It was lovely to chat to people and see children enjoy themselves again. All socially distanced of course. I hope you have had a wonderful Wednesday.

I put this tower on my "places to visit" list after seeing your first lot of photos Rosa............now I've seen these steps, I've just crossed it out :-)))

It certainly looks like a magical place...........especially in the main image against that colourful sky! My favourite image is the second PiP - I love the perspective and the way the steps disappear into the distance. The sky is lovely with some gorgeous clouds.

A beautiful series..!!

(I don't suppose there's a stair-lift on the other side of the hill)?

Oh no! What will the Glastonbury Tourist Board say, ha ha! I found it much easier just walking on the grass on the way up and down. The 'back' way up is much steeper and I wouldn't do that again!

You would find it very atmospheric Keith, whatever time of year it happened to be. In the second PiP it looks like you go down to the tower...but you don't!

No stair lift at the moment ;-)) Thank you for your lovely comments.

Ah, Glastonbury Tor. I remember breathing hard going up here too -some years back now. I presume it was nice and peaceful when you was here? -Anyway, a great series captured and presented. Well done.

Cheers, Herb

More people at the top than I was expecting Herb, but very peaceful and friendly, but distancing. Met some lovely dogs and saw them again in the town later on...and their owners ;-)
Thanks a lot. Cheers, Rosa.

The lens flare does give a lovely magical effect to the main image. I don't think there were steps when I was there. It must be over thirty years ago. I just remember walking on grass.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Jean
I don't remember when the steps were put in Jean, but there is another route to the top of the Tor that many people take. It doesn't have steps and is much steeper than the main route. I did it about 3 years ago and wouldn't try it again :)

As Jean said a magical image, it's cheating having steps !! it would be hard coming down the steps, they would help to prevent erosion with so many visitors, a camera is a great asset walking up some where like that you're not really having a rest !!!!

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Peter Castell club
Thank you Peter. I found it easier to walk up and down on the grass. Also it was better for passing people safely. The camera comes in handy for many reasons...I rested many times ;-)

Buen detalle de una visita con paseo. No se ven mascarillas. A partir de esta noche en Euskadi son obligatorias, tanto en espacios abiertos como públicos y cerrados.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to José Manuel Polo club
There were not many masks being worn but people were keeping well distanced. Next week it will be mandatory in England to wear masks in shops and enclosed places, but not in open spaces. I already wear one in shops. I think it is the most sensible step to take.
Thank you for your kind and interesting comments.
