Nice scenes. I used to take the ferry to Jersey many moons ago, now and then.

Thank you Roger. I have never been to Jersey, but travelled to Guernsey a couple of times in the late 1970's.

A lovely shot of the quay, Rosa. I love the juxtaposition of vertical and horizontal lines. Which yacht is yours? The Anchorage looks like a lovely place to stay. Cheers, Joe

A lovely harbour scene, Rosa. Very impressed by the look of The Anchorage.

Thank you George. I cannot remember the two rows of B&B's being any other colour than blue in all the time I have been visiting Weymouth. I'm sure they do very good business.

This is a lovely view of the quay and boats Rosa...........with such a lot to look at and enjoy. Everything looks bright and colourful in the sunshine and there are some very posh-looking yachts on view.

I like the image of the B&Bs in the PiP. I love that all the frontages seem to be nearly identical. Everyone has made a real effort to make them look nice!

A smashing couple of shots..............thanks for sharing. I used to go to Weymouth occasionally. It was a popular "run-ashore" for the crews of RN ships berthed up at Portland back in the day!

Thank you very much Keith. You should have seen the inner harbour for posh yachts! I wonder who they all belong to! The B&B's always look well kept. I haven't ever stayed in one of them, but my daughter has and good breakfasts were enjoyed.

I remember seeing lots of sailors in Weymouth when we visited in the 50's and 60's. Not that you would have been one of them then :-) Us kids were fascinated by their uniforms.

A busy scene the B&Bs will all be hoping for plenty of visitors, think I have only been there once and that was when the train still went down the harbour a long time ago. I've just looked it up the last passenger train was 1987, they did experiment with a Parry People Mover but nothing came of it, one operates between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town a 3 minute journey

I hope they do well Peter. Many will not unfortunately. I remember the harbour trains very well. A sad day when they stopped.

I haven't been to Jersey or Guernsey which may account for the fact that I never visited Weymouth either! A nice pair of shots, Rosa.
Weather hot here; 40s by day and mid 30s now. Hence no sleep just yet, if at all, tonight!

That is hot Andy. I would also find it unbearable. It's quite hot here as well, but does seem to cool down a little at night. Take care!
