Nicely composed images Rosalyn, a lot more scenic than the Grand Union in Leicester, it does improve at Foxton the longest and steepest staircase locks in the UK in it's heyday there was an inclined plane lift. After threatening all day the rain arrived tonight, I hope you have a nice Sunday

Thank you Peter. We had heavy showers all day yesterday. All I can say is, the garden needed it! It has given the runner beans a spurt and made the carrots easier to draw! Looking better today.

Not sure how I missed this one yesterday. Two clever shots Rosa, both nicely framed through the archway. I love the candid shot of the man fishing and the vibrant green colours.

No problem Keith. It's a lot to keep up with all the time. There were quite a few people fishing, which surprised me....I don't know why! Usually many more narrowboats in normal times.
