Llanddwyn Bay Beach from Llanddwyn Island

Llanddwyn Bay Beach from Llanddwyn Island
This route allows visitors to and from the Island twice a day for a few hours. As can be seen on this busy bank holiday weekend, it can get quite busy here despite the distinctly cool weather we had on our visit. Our forest carpark is beyond the far right of this picture and so a long sandy walk awaits.

Erhard Bernstein, John FitzGerald, Keith Burton, Gudrun and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Yep, you have to time it right or you get more than your feet wet here. Glad you liked it.

Highly interesting to see the route here. I guess once the tide has reached a certain level walking across can get quite dangerous.
When we went over to Lihou (Guernsey) there were signs that you shouldn't attempt crossing when the water is over your ankles.

Hi. The tide seem to rush through here quite fast and so I guess fairly dangerous to try to cross in deep water. Glad you found this of interest.

You've found a lovely viewpoint here Herb........allowing you to use the leading lines from the rocks. Despite the weather it looks like a lovely walk (assuming you get the tides right).

Beautifully composed an d taken sir!

Another of my shots to your taste Keith. It was a very good adventure here and very fruitful, photographically. Yes, it is essential to get the tides right. We were disappointed when we saw the tide in as we neared here but a picnic later then we were then able to cross.

Cheers. Herb
