HFF - The Cube
Der Cube in Berlin ist ein Bürogebäude neben dem Berliner Hauptbahnhof. Das Gebäude fällt auf durch seine spiegelnde Fassade, die durch Falten und Knicke geprägt ist. In der Fassade spiegelt sich die Umgebung je nach Blickwinkel unterschiedlich. Diese Aufnahme habe ich vom Schiff aus gemacht, wobei mit der Bewegung des Schiffes ein kaleidoskopartiger Spiegeleffekt entstand.
Das zehnstöckige Gebäude wurde vom Architekturbüro 3XN aus Kopenhagen entworfen und im Februar 2020 fertiggestellt. Das würfelförmige Gebäude hat eine Kantenlänge von 42,5 Metern und wurde ressourenschonend und energieeffizient entworfen.
