HFF vom Roque de los Muchachos

Am Aussichtspunkt Roque de los Muchachos befindet man sich im Krater Caldera de Taburiente. Der Weg liegt auf einem Felsgrat, der in den Krater hineinführt, so dass man auf beiden Seiten des Weges in den Krater schauen kann. An diesem Tag sind Wolken im Krater und auch außerhalb. Die Berge oberhalb von 1800 m ragen heraus. Der Blick reicht bis nach Teneriffa (oben rechts). Entfernung bis zum Teide 134 km.

This is just outstanding. The fog really makes the rock formations in front and rear stand out and look their colorful best. The deep shadows also make the fore- rock stand out too. A remarkable spot and a place I bet you had to just stop at for a while and stare at the majesty of it all. Thanks so much for sharing...it's a wonderful and most awesome picture! :)

Fantastic landscape from La Palma heights! It's amazing that Tenerife can be noticed from there; I never succeeded in noticing La Palma from Tenerife, even in higher places. HFF, Wilhelm!
