How interesting that you have been there! In Southern Hemisphere it's the Tropic of Capricorn, in Northern Hemisphere the Tropic of Cancer. Both are the latitude on Earth where the Sun can be seen directly overhead. HBM George.

I love that they have marked the place with a cairn George, - an imaginary lline of latitude marked by something solid and tangible! That really appeals to me. I also like that your benches often seem to come with shelters like this to protect from heat. We could do with some like this to protect us from the rain!!

A mediodía los rayos de sol deben dar en vertical, así que bajo esos bancos las cabezas aún podrán pensar, gracias a los techos.
