Well, if through the use of e-bikes the car traffic decreases, it could be a good idea. But not if you have BOTH; car and e-bike.
Here in Switzerland there is a trend that worries me. Several e-scooter providers offer their services in various Swiss cities. Now you can see these things standing around really everywhere in these cities! A really plague! And it's mostly young people who use them. They really don't need it!
