Another great series of Glastonbury with not so many people around Rosa

Thank you Nick. Very unusual for the town to be so quiet, but under the circumstances, not really surprising. There were a couple of buskers. One very good harpist.

It is Pam. I shall be glad when there are more people in the normally busy High Street.

A charming two triptychs, Rosa, highlighting the beautiful architecture of Glastonbury. It looks like a great place in which to browse the shops. Cheers, Joe

Thank you for your kind comments Joe. It is a good place to browse the shops and side alleyways. There are some rather unusual things in some of them, but it's always interesting!
Cheers, Rosa.

A lovely series around Glastonbury which looks a very pleasant town. At least one 'positive' of the virus is that it helped give you clear shots, Rosa.

That is a positive George, but I kind of miss the crowds. Most small towns in this part of England have closed their High Streets off to traffic, so that people can socially distance far better. It is nice not to have the traffic. I am pleased you like the series, thank you.

What a super collection of shop frontages and architecture.............and beautifully presented in these two collages. The ones that especially caught my eye are:

The middle shot in the first collage - the reflected light on the paving stones is just gorgeous.

The first image in the second collage - I really like the instruments fixed to the outer wall of the shop.

Finally, I love the last image in the first collage featuring the street art of the two figures - there is an almost identical one in Chichester and I guess it's probably the same artist: www.ipernity.com/doc/keithburton/45837308/in/album/385235

You were really lucky with the weather and you've captured all the images in lovely light, warm colours and great detail. Thanks for sharing Rosa. *****

Thank you very much for your kind words Keith. Some of the shop fronts are rather garishly painted, but it does seem to suit the town and sit well with the older, grander buildings.
I have followed your link, and yes I think it could well be the same artist! There were actually 3 figures, but I could only fit 2 in.

I hope the day is as sunny for you as it is here, and looks promising to stay that way for a while :-))

Thank you Herb. I have been having problems with the internet today!
Glastonbury is a town and has a lovely town hall. I wish I had taken a picture of it. My daughter has organised many gig's there in the past. Have a good weekend. Rosa.

Thank you Denis. It's an unusual town. The Abbey area is lovely and because of the current situation, it wasn't crowded.
