Bowleaze Cove ~ Dorset

Bowleaze Cove ~ Dorset
The modern homes along Bowleaze Cove and the views they have (PiP's). There is a cafe called The Lookout, which is where I took these photos from, sat outside. Between the cove and Portland there must have been at least 10 cruise ships, lined up with nowhere to go!

I remember a holiday here in a caravan with my mother and some of her sisters when I was about 9 years old. Gosh that was 70 years ago - all changed now !!!!!
I hope you are well and must apologize for the lack of comments coming from me.

Good morning Peter. They wouldn't be in my price range either, but I would rather visit than live there anyway. I like my little village :) Very hot here today. I have been for a drive and walk in a couple of interesting places nearby. Take care and have a good day.

What a lovely scene, Rosa. How lovely you were able to photograph this location, while sitting in a cafe. Coffee and photography, the perfect combination! The gull adds an excellent focal point. Cheers, Joe

One just must get their priorities right Joe. LOL! Took my 90 year old uncle out for the day and we even had cheesy chips with our coffee! Many thanks for your kind comments. Cheers, Rosa.

Lovely houses Rosalyn, built for the view. I was meant to have one of those when I bought my first house 50 years ago but on £12.50 a week wages the bank said find something cheaper ! Lol.
You can't beat the views down that neck of the woods.

They wouldn't look at home in villages Pam, but they seem to fit well on the coast, to me. I wouldn't mind the views they have though :-))

What lovely looking homes................and the views are spectacular. It sounds like a great place for coffee and chips and an hour or so admiring the views in the sunshine. I bet there was a nice cooling breeze too.

The plight of the cruise ships was on the news earlier today................they've been hit harder than the airline industry and it must still be costing a fortune still keeping skeleton crews onboard.

Anyway...........a super set of images Rosa.
