This is exquisitely beautiful Rosa........and the black background is perfect. Your focus and depth of field are spot-on and the colour of the dahlia is sublime. Perfect lighting too and lovely water droplets (oh and a bonus fly)!

You wrote on one my my images (and I quote) "I feel like giving up when I see such sharp and beautiful pictures like this" and then you post this image - just proving that that you are your own worst critic ;-)

I have to say that this flower gives me at least one good picture every year, and the rain helped a lot this time. Apart from that it was a fluke, ha ha! I still have a long way to go to match yours, but I thank you very much for your kind comments.
