Thank you Jean. The ducks are not very co-operative unfortunately...they are always swimming away from me! I have tried tempting them by feeding them but no change. They are just very wild.

These are really lovely Rosa..................the main image is particularly good. The light is just glorious and it has really brought out some lovely detail and colour in the scene.

The first PiP is very nice - I love the detail in the ivy and the textures in the tree trunk.

The second PiP is just perfect. The snowdrops are stunning and I love the earthy colours of the leaves, twigs etc surrounding them - a tangible indication that spring is on the way!

I must admit that this does look very spring like! Some greenery, a bit of sunlight, and lots of ducks!!! My guess is that this was a mill at one time..

You are quite right, it was a mill. In fact there are two old mills in the quiet little village. The larger of them is now a single dwelling. Always lots of ducks, but they soon disappear when I'm around!!
