I came across this wide farm track during the last millennium, going up from the A303 just west of the henge. There are acres of free parking places, but please keep it under your hat Gudrun, or I will have issues calling in for nice country walk.

This fence totally eclipses Stonehenge, Neil. I cannot understand why the crowds seem to be looking at a pile of old stones instead of this. ;-)

I wonder how they managed to sneak all those old rocks over the fence and into the field without alerting the security guards? No doubt it was done under cover of darkness which explains why the rocks look so untidy..!!

If you are forgetting what day it is, you must be getting as old as me. When you retire I suspect it will be a daily occurrence as all days will then be the same.
