Maybe the worms are doing it.

I doubt it. Worms have a reputation for being too slow.

I can't see anybody doing any cleaning;-) Sticking up a sign and going for a tea break?

As least people have been warned that hazardous work has been planned ;-)

More likely to be a tree break rather than a tea break.!

Many thanks, Roger. Maybe all is not as it seems ....and that it is the work of a hooligan or two.

A nice find Neil...............quietly humorous and a great talking point.

I remember fondly times spent as a raw recruit sweeping up leaves on windy days and in the rain, just because some Senior Officer or Dignitary was transiting the area at 50 mph..!!

Many thanks, Keith. I doubt if I would have noticed this if I had not been into taking photographs.
I guess peeling spuds outside the cookhouse would have been better than your sweeping experience ;-)

Never did the "peeling spuds" bit Neil.............but I spent a fair amount of time doubling around a parade ground holding a rifle above my head - mainly because it took me a few years before I learned to keep my big mouth shut..!!
