Common Name: Turk's Cap Lily

Native/ Perennial --


It is either great blooms -- or none ..
During a dry year - we get leaves...

We have had more than usual amount of rain, so Lil is hanging in there.

So, pardon me ..
I'm going out to sit with her to make sure she knows I am enjoying her orange beauty ~

Lilium superbum is perhaps the best example of the Latin name out-doing the common one (which isn't half bad anyway!) that I know!.
