From my view point ...
this fireman, on the roof of a burning house up the street from me -
this isn't dangerous -
it is a hazardous profession -
one, which they are trained to do very well -
there are always jobs that most of us wouldn't even think of doing -
this falls into that category, for me -
respect & thankfulness are just two feelings that come to mind for me -
these men & women serve & protect us -
I don't even know his name, yet there, he and many firefighters were on my street -
to save this house -
you have my profound thanks for the job you do-
for the career path chosen -
yet, thanks is such a small word for what you do -
