And the hole is cut ... venting smoke

in the roof ... linked to Another Link in the Chain .. from steaming manhole cover to venting smoke by fireman ..
couldn't see it, but sounded like a chain saw ..
shortly after it was cut, smoke billowed out ..
brown & black ..
these men do extremely hazardous work ..
we should never take them for granted ..

this is just up the street from me ..
things look different from this perspective ..
