I'm all for no mow May, whilst Isobel prefers to see her lawns close cropped. So far I have mown footpaths across the grass!

Sounds a good compromise to me :-)

A super collage Maggie. It must have been a lovely walk.
It must save the councils money and what a difference it makes for us
seeing the beautiful wild flowers. I see so many in your pic's viewed large!

It's not a very long bit of footpath - but every little helps!!

Great collage though, April, May or June...this no mow reminds me of the meadows in my childhood, they looked a lot like that, more natural and somehow more original. Now you can hardly see them no mow ;-))

Our lawn looks quite often like this;-))

Feed the bees ... our wildflower areas have signs --

DO NOT Mow .. we are feeding the bees!
