A fantastic looking bridge, which I assume is built without mortar, and it seems to have stood the test of time very well. I also like the other bridge in the background. The the trees in the background and the rocks and vegetation in the foreground complete the scene nicely. Well composed and taken Maggie.

I believe clappers are indeed without mortar and whilst I allowed LWD on to it, still attached to her lead in case I had to drag her out, I was too cowardly to venture across myself. The bridge behind is in use as its part of a major route across the moor.

A beautiful old bridge Maggie. I love the foreground too. It sets the scene beautifully.

And we think that us modern folk are so clever ... mind you there are plenty of these granite boulders scattered around!
