It looks as if it has been preparing to become a bridge. A beautiful curve. I can imagine all sorts of creatures using it to cross the path.

i'm always surprised at how similar the natural part of your part of the world is to mine. i mean, i know it - i've been there, but still i think of your part as 'other' than mine. there is of course differences, but this could be down the road from me (except we are a bit behind on spring leaves budding from the branches)!

Der umgestürzte Baum bildet einen Torbogen. Er liegt schon länger dort, was man an den Moosen erkennt. Überhaupt ist die Natur hier so üppig, dass der Zaun schon fast zugewuchert ist.
